Harpa Konser Salonu ve Konferans Merkezi

Henning Larsen Architects'in tasarladığı konser salonu ve konferans merkezi Reykjavík'te bulunuyor.

Danimarka-İzlanda kökenli sanatçı Olafur Eliasson ve Amerikan Artec Consultants ile iş birliği içinde çalışarak, sanat ve mimarlığın güçlerini birleştirdi. Ortaya hem estetik hem de teknik açıdan olduklça çarpıcı bir bina ortaya çıktı. Kavramsal olarak, binanın en etkileyici yanı cam cephesi ve cam arasında meydana gelen boşlukların etkileşimi.

İzlanda’da yaygın biçimde bulunan kristalize bazalt sütunları andıran, altıgen cam form şehrin kaleydoskopik yansımalarını oluşturuyor. Çok yüzlü cam cephe, iki ve üç boyutlu olarak gerçekleştirilen bir geometrik ilkeye dayanıyor.

Ana mekanlarda güzel yansımalar veren renkli panellerin yerleştirilmesine özen gösterildi. Ve tasarımın son aşamalarında, yansıma ve şeffaflık üzerine bir vurgu yerleştirildi. Cephe, yeterli doğal ışıklandırma sağlıyor ve akşamları, güney cephesinde çok renkli LED aydınlatma sistemi yapıya, İzlanda’ya özgü bir parlaklık veriyor.

Müzik salonunun yoğun bir yola yakın olması durumu, Artec için bir tür meydan okuma haline geldi. İstenilen estetik kalite sağlanırken gürültü engellendi ve İzlanda iklimiyle mücadele edildi. Yapının akustiği esnek kullanıma izin verdiği için farklı etkinlikler için kullanılabiliyor. Çıkarılabilir ve istiflenebilir oturma elemanları aynı zamanda çeşitli şekillerde yapılandırmayı sağlıyor.

Harpa Konser ve Konferans Merkezi’nde en büyüğü 1.800 kişilik olmak üzere dört salon bulunuyor. Çeşitli ihtiyaçları ve etkinlikleri ağırlamak için ayarlanabilir küçük toplantı salonları da yer alıyor.
