The New Museum of Ethnography, Budapest

NAPUR Architect introduces the new Museum of Ethnography, Budapest, a multiple award-winning building forming part of Europe’s largest urban-cultural development, Liget Budapest Project. The building’s dynamic yet simple lines simultaneously harmonize with the park environment and communicate with the surrounding urban area. The City Park (Városliget) is a familiar venue for the Museum of Ethnography: its collection debuted here at the 1896 Millennium Exhibition.

Canakkale Antenna Tower

Canakkale Antenna Tower by IND [Inter.National. Design] and Powerhouse Company opens to the public. Located at the top of a hill with breath taking views of the Dardanelles, the project consolidates existing telecommunication towers into one and creates a public park enriched with viewing platforms, a visitor centre and a restaurant.

Premier Office

Tropical Space unveils Premier Office, an office building for rent located on a quiet street in Ho Chi Minh City where several other rental offices have been built. The design team aspired to create a building that can maximize the performance of natural lighting without being affected by the negative impact of direct sunlight. The door and window system can be opened when the weather is good.

The Poppy Factory

The Poppy Factory is located in Richmond alongside the River Thames in South West London. It is a charity founded between the World Wars focused on identifying employment for veterans and raising funds for families affected by war. Its premises in Richmond have evolved over the years and occupy a group of buildings including a 1930s Art Deco 3-storey factory where poppies are still made as a symbol of Flanders Fields to mark the end of WWI hostilities on Remembrance Day.

The European Prize for Urban Public Space 2022 announces the 5 finalist works

After meeting on 14th and 15th July, the international Jury of the 2022 European Prize for Urban Public Space has chosen the 5 finalists for this year’s award. The winner will be made public at a prize-giving ceremony that is to be held at the CCCB the 14 and 15 November.
