Sudan Build, the only international exhibition through the sector held in Sudan, takes great attention of the leading international companies in its 6th year.

Totally 10 Italian companies, serving in the field of construction equipments and building materials are going to participate in the fair this year, to be held on29 October - 02 November 2008.

Sudan, on the way for a considerable development, making use of its petrol incomes on the infrastructure projects; provides short & long-term investment opportunities for the leading companies in the world. Taking into account the fact that face-to-face communication is the most efficient way for establishing long-lasting cooperations in the country, attending such fairs and taking advantage of the fruitful atmosphere appearing in these fairs are considered to be useful.

Sudan Build, which has contributed much to the commercial relations between Sudan and other countries for 4 years, enabled many international companies to penetrate into the Sudanese market and implement significants projects in the country.

Launching a big drive for reconstruction of the country, the Sudanese Government states that this source provided by the increasing oil revenues will be used in this respect. The Sudanese Minister of Foreign Trade Abdel Hameed Musa Kahsa has identified Sudan as a site, and has stated that there were big projects in the fields such as highway, potable water networks, refinery and dam.

This fair to be held in Sudan will also provide business opportunities to Egypt, Chad, Ethiopia, Central Africa, Kenya, Uganda and Libya.

Scheduled for 29 October - 02 November 2008 at the Khartoum International Fairgrounds, Sudan Build 2008 will again target to be the point of reference for entire Africa and Middle East. Again more than 120 exhibitors from around 20 countries, among them many world leaders, are expected to participate.

The exhibition will be held on a total area of 10.000 sqm with 4 halls and outdoor area which will be visited by Sudan authorities as well as businessmen from neighbouring countries and the other countries trading with Sudan.

It is aimed in the exhibition to form a common platform between producers and users and to provide an opportunity to investors in the construction field to bring modern technology, materials and equipments as well as new investments in Sudan and the other African countries.

In addition, round table meetings, conferences and seminars about construction and technologies will be realized within the concept of the fair with The Investors Union of Africa which organizes the investment opportunities with the member countries of COMESA In these meetings, the new investments all around African continent will be discussed. Participants of the exhibition will be informed on making investments and to exchange views on construction sector in Sudan.
